Meet Marilyn Dissauer - Director
Tell us a little about yourself
I have spent close to 20 years in talent acquisition recruiting on roles across many disciplines. I am fortunate to have experienced various work environments including 3rd party, internal recruiting/strategic HR, and owning my own firm. I live in NE Ohio and I am the proud mom of 2 grown sons.
How has your career grown since starting at Marcum Search?
The past year with Marcum Search has provided me the opportunity to be more focused in the accounting/finance industry.

Hanging out with family. Whether on a family vacation or sitting around someone’s kitchen table – when we are together the laughter abounds.
Advice for my 16 year old self
Life is full of peaks and valleys. Grow from what you learn while in the valleys and appreciate your time on the peaks without taking life for granted.
Number 1 on my bucket list
A trip to Greece with family.
The person who had the biggest impact on my life is
My parents had the biggest impact on my life. I learned a strong work ethic from my father who was a restaurant/hotel owner. My mom taught me many of the soft skills needed for life.
In my career I am most proud of
Being a career matchmaker that create win-win results for both the candidate and the client.
A funny or memorable experience from your career or personal life?
Hands down the best moment(s)in my life were having my children.
