Meet Lauren Nicolini - Talent Administrator at Marcum Search
Tell us a little about yourself….
I was born and raised on Long Island, NY where I currently live with my husband and two small children. I graduated from Iona College in 2011 where I was a part of the D1 Women’s Soccer Team and studied in Mass Communications. I have been with Marcum Search for almost three years and still play soccer recreationally.
How has your career grown since starting at Marcum Search?
Marcum Search is the first recruiting company I have worked for. For the last three years, I have taken all my prior work experiences and used it to excel here as a member of the Operations team. I have grown to take on more responsibilities while having the trust in my leaders and team.

My perfect day is…
It’s hard to pick just one! It could be either a sunny day out east with my husband and kids exploring or going to a professional soccer game and having the best tailgate!
Advice for my 16 year old self…
Don’t compare yourselves to others. Be who you are and who you want to me to be. It is so easy to get caught up in trying to be like others, you lose sight of who you really are.

To take an Alaskan Cruise!
The person who had the biggest impact on my life is…
My parents have had the biggest impact on my life. They taught me to never give up or quit even when things got hard.
A funny or memorable experience from your career or personal life?
A memorable experience from my personal life would have to be when my husband and I took our children to Disney World last October. My daughter just turned three and she was in absolute awe of seeing Cinderella’s castle, all the princesses and Mickey Mouse!
In my career I am most proud of…
How far I have come. I have truly found my niche and love what I do. Not many people can say that. I love being the glue to help my coworkers and feel truly appreciated.
