Meet Veronique Landry-Doucet, Head of Talent Acquisition
How has your career grown since starting at Marcum Search?
I joined the Marcum Search New York City office in October 2017 as a Talent Manager for our parent company, Marcum LLP. At that time, I was the first (and only) recruiter in the newly created Marcum LLP Talent function. Almost 3 years later, I am now the Head of Talent Acquisition and have a team of 10 very talented recruiters.

I am most proud of the team I have created at Marcum and the relationships I have built with clients and candidates.

My perfect day is…
A day playing golf with my husband and father, followed by a family lobster dinner with my husband, parents and sister!
Advice for my 16 year old self…
Do not believe those telling you that you will not accomplish anything in your life / career. Follow your dreams and stay true to yourself.
The person who had the biggest impact on my life is…
My parents. They taught me the value of hard work and showed me unconditional love. They also taught me to never forget my Acadian heritage regardless of where I am.

Visit every country in Europe! 15 down, 29 to go.
What is your best tip on how to stay connected while still practicing social distancing during COVID-19?
Lots of video calls, even if it is just 5 minutes to say hi and check-in.
