Employee Spotlight – Michelle Pearlstein

Meet Michelle Pearlstein - Vice President, Information Technology

Employee Spotlight – Michelle Pearlstein

How has your career grown since starting at Marcum Search?
Due to the fact, that our parent company Marcum LLP has a large geographic presence, Marcum Search has allowed me to expand my client base-which has enabled me to network at the next level. I came here with an expertise in IT staffing, and now feel like I have a well-rounded education in so many different sectors of the staffing industry.

In my career I am most proud of…
The relationships I have forged with clients and colleagues. Believe it or not, the staffing industry is a small world. I have been so fortunate to maintain and grow these relationships throughout the years, and although I have worked at a few different firms…my clients have followed me with each move and some former colleagues have joined me here at Marcum Search.

My favorite quote is…
“Don’t Let Yesterday Take Up Too Much Of Today.” – Will Rogers

Three words to describe myself…
Loyal, genuine and confident

My perfect day is…
A day at the beach with my family and friends. Give me sun, sand, laughs and Love…and I’m a happy woman.

Advice for my 16 year old self…
Listen more and talk less. Make sure you tell you tell everyone who is important to you in your life, that they are loved

The person who had the biggest impact on my life is…
My Dad. My father was my hero and my best friend. At a young age I watched a man who had a speech impediment, type 1 Diabetes and a heart condition persevere through any and every obstacle. He ran a successful engineering firm, became a public speaker, treated his wife like a queen, son like a prince and his daughter like a princess. He taught me that if you want it, go get it, and have FUN doing it. He also taught me not to “sweat the small stuff”. My first thought every day is to make him proud.

Number one on my bucket list
A long vacation in Santorini, Greece with the people I love.

What is one thing you hope to achieve in 2021?
Growing my own family.
