Tell us a little about yourself….
I have been married to my husband for almost 11 years and have 3 boys together (11, 8 and 4) and one dog who is a Cavapoo. My husband is in the Army, so I am an Army wife and move every couple of years. I enjoy traveling, shopping and attending all of my kids events (school or other).
How has your career grown since starting at Marcum Search?
When starting at Marcum, I was just getting back into the workforce after being a Stay at Home Mom for the past 3.5 years and I could not have chosen a better company to come work for. I have administrative experience and working in the recruiting environment, so I was excited to get back into it. My time here has been educational and I feel as though I have grown as a person professionally. Im always learning new things, working on new projects and gaining the knowledge that has made me grow and continue to grow. I have an amazing team I work with and look forward to the future!
My favorite quote is…
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." –
Jesus of Nazareth
Three words to describe myself…
Resourceful, Team Player and Hard Working
My perfect day is…
Traveling home to Cleveland, going to the West Side Market to shop and taste all the delicious food and end with dinner and cocktails.
Advice for my 16 year old self…
Be yourself!! The only person that can change you is you. Be happy with who you are in that moment and enjoy being a kid!
Number 1 on my bucket list…
Travel to Italy! My husband and I were supposed to go last year but we are planning it for 2024.
The person who had the biggest impact on my life is…
My grandfather – the hardest working man I have ever met and the first man in my life. He was my inspiration and taught me how to manage my finances, how to work hard and how to love unconditionally.
In my career I am most proud of…
I am proud of being able to help my team out with their questions or tasks. It makes me feel good knowing that they can rely on me with answers or to accomplish a task they asked me to complete.
A funny or memorable experience from your career or personal life?
Some of my fondest memories have to be when we lived in NY. I remember when we moved there for the first time, 5 years ago, and how scared I was, here we with 2 kids and we know no one. I quickly realized that this was an adventure and now, looking back, we made lasting friends and memories. I look forward to the day we can go back and visit again.
