Employee Spotlight – Emily Prigodich

Tell us a little about yourself

Hi! I’m Emily!

I have been with Marcum Search for a year and a half. I graduated college 3 years ago (at the start of the pandemic!) and it has been a crazy journey since!

I love to surround myself with great family & friends – quality time with them is my favorite way to spend my time.

I have the best dog in the world – Chief! He is a Rottweiler and my best friend.

I have the coolest cat in the world – Mark! He is orange and moody.

How has your career grown since starting at Marcum Search?

I have become a more confident person and recruiter since joining Marcum Search. I am blessed to be surrounded by very talented colleagues who help to challenge & teach me.

One thing I have tried to embrace since starting here is – growth comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone.

My favorite quote is

My dad always says, “laughter is the best medicine” and I find it to be so true.

Three words to describe myself

People have described me as funny, organized, and positive.

My perfect day is

A hot and sunny day in the pool with family and friends, followed by an evening of card/board games is my perfect day.

Advice for my 16 year old self

Enjoy every moment you can and soak it all in. People aren’t lying when they say time goes by fast!

Number 1 on my bucket list

I’d love to visit as many national parks as possible!

Also, I want to go skydiving someplace really cool.

The person who had the biggest impact on my life is

My mom and dad! They are the hardest working people I know and so loving and supportive.

In my career I am most proud of

I am so proud to have a career where I can help people find opportunities that they love! It’s so rewarding.

I’m also proud of how much I have grown and learned.

A funny or memorable experience from your career or personal life?

Once, early in my career, I drove all the way to work before realizing I left my laptop at home.

Oops… thankfully I work from home now!
